Frequently Asked Questions
Why is my pool water cloudy?
Cloudy water is usually caused by poor filtration, high pH, or early algae growth due to low chlorine levels. A professional water test will identify the exact cause.
My eyes burn when I swim. Is there too much chlorine?
Usually, burning eyes and a strong chlorine smell actually mean there is not enough free chlorine! It's a sign of chloramines (used chlorine). Your pool likely needs to be shocked.
How often should pool chemicals be checked?
During the swimming season, pool water should be tested and adjusted at least once a week. This is included in our standard weekly service.
